Healthy churches Pray together.

We pray both for each other and with each other at New Covenant Fellowship.  We believe that God has given us the gift of prayer as a means both of interceding on behalf of others and of interacting with the one, true Triune God of the Universe.  In His economy, God has so designed that He accomplishes His purposes through the prayers of His people.

We pray for mundane things (illness, jobs, etc.) along with "lofty, spiritual" matters with the same sense of passion because we believe all of life is to be lived in the presence of God.  Because there is no distinction between the sacred and the secular (it is all within God's domain) we do not distinguish our praying.

However, we do not believe God merely wishes for our physical well-being.  Rather, we believe He desires and designs our total well-being, which must be rooted in Jesus Christ alone.  All we need for life He provides.

Whether praying in community groups, in Sunday worship, or with a friend in a coffee shop, we being God hears the prayers of His people, and that He responds to them.
